Working with asbestos requires special skills and safety measures. Asbestos Special Training gives you the knowledge required to work or supervise work with asbestos or asbestos-containing materials, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2023:13).

The training combines theory, safety aspects and practical elements, including demolition techniques. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the health risks and proper handling of asbestos.

Who needs the training?

The training is aimed at those who:

  • Working with demolition or handling of asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
  • Leading work groups where asbestos is present
  • Need to meet the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements for special training

Three levels of training:

  • 4 days - Full training for working with asbestos
  • 2 days - Shortened version for some job roles
  • 1 day (Repetition) - For those who need to renew their certificate
