TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR CABLE LAYING AND OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY


Every year several hundred electrical workplace accidents occur in Sweden. EBR Kabelförläggning provides you with the skills required to carry out cable laying work in a safe and efficient manner.

The training is based on EBR publications and requirements documents and is aimed at both field staff and supervisors responsible for cable work.

  • Is an excavator operator and works on cable digging
  • Are construction workers involved in cabling
  • Driving a truck and handling cables during cable deployment
  • Planning, managing or carrying out cable-laying work
  • Wants to comply with EBR requirements for occupational safety

Course content:

  • EBR requirements documents and publications
  • Cable laying max. 145 kV (KJ 41:21.1)
  • Earthing according to K25
  • Excavation near power cables (IN072:19)
  • Risk assessment and safety procedures
  • Final test and certification
 Step by step to completed training
  1. Book onsite or customized training
  2. Participate in the course (1 day) with theory and practical elements
  3. Learn to follow EBR requirements and safety procedures
  4. Complete the training and get a certificate
  5. The certificate is valid for 6 years
