ADR General cargo - Basic training

If you are transporting dangerous goods in excess of the calculated value, an ADR certificate is required.

This applies regardless of the total weight of the vehicle.

The basic course deals with the conditions and prerequisites for the transportation of dangerous goods as general cargo, with the exception of explosive substances and objects and radioactive substances.

The MSB issues an ADR certificate when you have passed the MSB test after the training.

This applies regardless of the total weight of the vehicle.

The basic course covers the conditions and prerequisites for the transportation of dangerous goods as general cargo, with the exception of explosive substances and articles and radioactive substances.

MSB issues an ADR certificate when you have passed the MSB test after the training.

The ADR certificate is valid for 5 years.

Duration of the training 3 days.

Who needs the training?

The course is aimed at those who handle or are involved in the transport of dangerous goods – for example in:

  • Packing and labeling
  • Purchasing of dangerous goods
  • Preparation of transport documents
  • Loading and unloading
  • Planning of transports

The training applies to handling below 1000 risk points and is developed according to requirements from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).
