Fall Protection "A" (Self-study)

Specialized training for work at height

Working safely

Meet the requirements of the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations and learn how to minimize the risk of falls at work - in just a few hours.

FALL PROTECTION - RULES, RISKS & ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT

Technology, equipment, training and compliance are all important cornerstones to avoid falls. Accidents can be prevented by following rules - at all times.

The law is clear: when working at a height of two meters or more, fall protection must be provided.

The Swedish Work Environment Authority (AMV ) is the authority responsible for increasing safety and reducing the risk of accidents in Swedish workplaces. AMV's regulations set out detailed requirements that employers and employees must follow.

Why is fall protection training needed?

The training is aimed at anyone working at height - for example on roofs, in lifts or on scaffolding - where the fall height is over two meters.

In Sweden, falls account for about a third of all workplace accidents, and are the most common type on construction sites.

The reason is often that a safety rule has not been followed.

The training follows the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations and EU directives to strengthen safety in high-risk environments.

Gustaf Cid Pérez

Head of Training & Certified Chemical Engineer

I founded Kunskapskontoret in 2012 because I saw a need for high-quality industry courses – at reasonable prices.

After 15 years as a chemical engineer, I realized how crucial it is to train employees in the work environment. I saw the connection between knowledge, awareness, and reduced accidents.

That is what drives me today: to help employers create safer, more productive, and happier workplaces.
