Insurance companies today impose strict requirements that all personnel performing hot work, or serving as fire watch, must have valid training. Our course ensures that you and your team have the latest knowledge to identify risks, prevent fires, and respond correctly in the event of an incident.

TRAINING PROGRAM FOR FIRE SAFE HOT WORK

Are you a welder, roofer, plumber, or do you perform other hot work involving fire hazards? Then you need a valid Certification for hot work involving flammable materials not just a requirement, but a fundamental prerequisite for a safe workplace. At Kunskapskontoret, you’ll gain the knowledge and the Permit for hot work involving flammable materials required to perform your work safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.

The training combines theory and practical elements to help you understand the risks in your work environment and prevent fires. After completing the course and passing the certification exam, you will receive a valid certificate.

Who needs the training?

The course is for those who will be working with temporary flammable hot work such as:

Welding, brazing, drying or grinding
Roofing and waterproofing work on roofs and balconies
Be a Licensee, Performer or Fire Warden

Practical exercises:Take part in realistic firefighting and risk assessment exercises to improve your ability to perform under pressure.
Permits and Responsibilities:Understand the process for issuinghot work permitsand the responsibilities of the permit issuer, the worker, and the fire watch.
Certification:Upon passing the exam, you will receive an industry-recognizedcertificate for Hot Work, valid for five years.
