Training for drivers of road maintenance vehicles with energy absorbing protection - ensure you meet the Swedish Transport Administration's certification requirements.

TRAINING PROGRAM FOR TMA/TA VEHICLES AND INTERMITTENT MARKING


Drivers of road maintenance vehicles with energy absorbing protection (TMA/TA) have a great responsibility for the working environment and road safety. The Swedish Transport Administration sets requirements for certification for those who work on contracts that include protection-classified and TEN-T roads.

Working on the road - Step 2.1 gives you the knowledge you need to

  • Handling and installing energy absorbing protective devices
  • Position the vehicle correctly on the roadway to protect both workers and road users
  • Use light arrows and traffic devices according to the rules in force

Working on the road - Step 2.1 ends with a written knowledge test. After passing the test, you will receive a diploma and training certificate showing the type of training you have completed.

Who needs the training?

This course is for you who:

  • Drive road maintenance vehicles with energy absorbing protection (TMA, TA)
  • Carry out intermittent marking works on protected and TEN-T roads
  • Need certification preparation for Swedish Transport Administration contracts

Required prior knowledge: Working on the road Step 1 (1.1, 1.2, 1.3)

  1. Check that you have prior knowledge (Step 1)
  2. Book instructor-led training in Malmö
  3. Participate in the course (1 day) and complete practical exercises
  4. Complete the written knowledge test
  5. After passing, you will receive a diploma and a certificate
  6. The certificate is sent directly to your e-mail and is valid for 5 years
