TRAINING PROGRAM FOR TRAFFIC AND SAFETY DEVICES AT ROAD WORK SITES

Roadwork sites are complex environments where both road users and personnel need to be protected. The Swedish Transport Administration places high demands on competence for those who work with traffic and safety devices.

Working on the Road - Stage 2.2 gives you in-depth knowledge of planning, deploying and managing traffic arrangements. The course is also for those who manage staff with Stage 1 competences.

During the Working on the Road - Step 2.2 training, we go through the laws, regulations and practical elements that allow you to perform your work safely and efficiently.

Who needs the training?

The course is aimed at those who work with:

Installation, maintenance and removal of signs and protection
Traffic control as a guard or pilot
Securing vehicles for mobile work
Leading and instructing employees with Step 1 competence

Prerequisites required: Road Work Step 1 (1.1–1.3) or Level 3A completed within the last 5 years.
